Tractorland is a family owned and operated Kubota dealer group located in Calgary and High River, Alberta. Founded in 1997 under the name Aitken’s Tractorland it wasn’t until 2007 that is was sold to the current ownership group and rebranded Calgary Tractorland. With a product line like Kubota growth was inevitable and to prepare for this Banner Equipment in Airdrie, Alberta was purchased in 2008 and restructured under the name Airdrie Tractorland. Along with it’s sister store in Calgary the two thrived with the rapid expansion of Kubota’s market share and product line. Fast forward to 2014 with consistent growth every year since 2007, the Hall Family was presented with an opportunity to acquire a neighbouring dealer in High River - Farmway Machinery. Within 8 weeks of finding out about the availability of continuing the growth into High River, Tractorland was open and operational with an amazing group of staff at 911 20th ST SE High River, Alberta. Soon following that acquisition sales had doubled in High River and it’s surrounding communities and so began construction on our permanent home in High River along the Trans Canada highway at 610 24th ST SE. Work wasn’t done here though. The two locations in Calgary and Airdrie had been experiencing consistent years of growth but the volume was taking a toll on the staff as the facilities we’re far undersized. Coupled with a strong recession in 2015 it was time to restructure and reorganize. In October of 2016 Calgary and Airdrie Tractorland were relocated and merged into a 23,000 SQ. FT facility on 7 Acres in Balzac, Alberta just east of Cross Iron Mills Mall. Today with 2 locations and a staff stronger than ever Tractorland has a very exciting future.
